Turkish sandwiches (bufe) are sort of like your Subway of Turkey except to my knowledge (or limited Turkish) you can't toast the bread.

A Turkish sandwich shop in the Beyoglu area.

In this place, you can choose any type of meats and cheese you want.

I ordered some beef, green peppers, and cheese.  The only thing is I'm not a big fan of Turkish bread.  Its like a French bread which is a tad tough.
