A pide is basically flat bread cooked in a coal oven. Ingredient and flavor composition wise.. it really isn't anything that complicated. However cooking it in a coal oven just creates a unique and delicious flavor you can't get out of a regular oven. My favorite pide vendor in Istanbul. Ismail Kebapcısı Address: Bogazkesen Caddesi #11, Tophane Beyoglu Telephone: 0212 244 1178 The chef who cooked my pide All cut up and ready to eat. I stayed to chat and watch for a while and got to sneak in a picture.
