Recipe:

Information

  • 2 servings
  • 10 minutes prep
  • 5 minutes cook

Ingredients

  • 4oz Rice noodles - preferably fresh. If not, soak dry noodles in warm water for 15 minutes then strain.
  • 1 tbsp Tamarind - Microwave a 1" block of tamarind for 3 minutes
  • 2 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • Thai Spice - dried chili flakes with chili powder.
  • Firm Tofu - soak in paper towels for half an hour/chicken
  • ¾ cup of water
  • 2 Eggs
  • Chives
  • 1 diced garlic
  • Bean Stalk
  • Roasted Nuts
  • Lime Wedges

Required Tools:

  • Wok

Preparation:

  • Microwave a 1" block of tamarind for 3 minutes
  • Drain the water and mash with a pestle
  • Have all ingredients accessible before starting
  • Heat up the wok and cook the meat and garlic for a minute
  • Add the egg
  • Add the rice noodles, water, fish sauce, sugar, and tamarind
  • Cook until all the liquid is gone
  • Add beanstalk and chives
  • Garnish with roasted peanuts and lime
