Npr.org (National Public Radio) recently had a fascinating bit about the possibility of growing meat in the laboratory.  Turns out that PETA is offering a $1 million to whoever can get this synthetic meat out to market by June 30, 2012.

Now, would you eat synthetic meat?  Call me an old timer, but the sounds of franken synthetic meat sound a bit scary to me.  I would rather go vegetarian than eat a full synthetic meat diet.
